Yes, our kids are pretty much opposites in every way imaginable!!! Illustrated here in the simple task of eating a sweet roll. Harper tears it apart, and shoves it on in! She will be sticky from head to toe. We pretty much have to run her through a car wash after she eats!
CHOMP CHOMP!!! And, if you're not on the ball, she'll swipe her hand across the table if she's done and everything goes onto the floor. Gotta keep your eye on this girl!
And then Cannon. He has always been a neat eater. "Mom, will you please cut my sweet roll into squares?" And he'll eat it with a fork, because he doesn't want to get his hands sticky. Can't stand having his hands sticky! Dirty, filthy, grimy, yes. But sticky, NO!
And, because it's something he likes, he eats every last bit of it!
Such an interesting thing to watch, these two!

Elsie's just like Cannon. I kinda love it...it makes life so much easier.
Maybe it's a boy/girl thing... our boys are definitely the cleaner eaters. If I knew then what I know now, I would have had a hose and drain installed in the kitchen ;).
Ha! I love that you've captured this observation. Things to look forward to with having 2 kids! Just when I think I had things down pat with 1 kid, I'm throwing another one in the mix! Can't wait! And your 2 are just adorable!
