Rock On!
More big fun yesterday at Topaz Mountain for Cannon and Greg. They came home with a big haul again! Cannon thinks we should decorate the whole house with topaz. I think we should make jewelry! We'll see what happens.
I'm so glad Greg is such a good and involved Dad. I love seeing him with the kids. I love you honey!

Get Out!!!
What a beautiful day to be outside! The kids and I went to my mom's for lunch. She's been home alone, my dad fell on Sunday and broke 4 ribs, so he's in a care center for 10 days. A nice break for my mom.... ANYWAY, we went for a WALK!! So, so lovely.
Vic, do you recognize your old house? It's the grey one there on the right. Our neighborhood sure isn't what it used to be. Was it that ghetto when we were growing up??? There are still the same bumps in the sidewalks, Cannon rode his bike off those. I remember jumping off them in 10-speeds after watching the movie "Rad".
Speaking of ghetto, we saw some old timers that have lived up the street forever. They are in their 80's! The husband is blind, and you could tell because his shoes were on the wrong feet! And the wife was patching up the driveway with some grey caulk and a BUTCHER KNIFE!!!!! Talk about old school! I wanted to take a picture so bad, but I didn't know how to explain my motives.... oh well, hopefully you can picture it!
Harper was happy to just chill in the stroller. Hope you all got out and enjoyed the sunshine today! It does wonders for your spirit!!!

Three Months!
(and one day!)
Cannon used to like to hold our hands, but Harper always holds her own. So interesting to see all the similarities and differences already!

Harper's Special Day
Yesterday was Harper's blessing. We did it at my sister Stacy's ward, she has so many great people there! Papa Gary did the blessing, and I felt especially lucky that there were so many great men in our lives that could go up and stand around her. I cried the whole day. What a boob! It always makes me happy to have family around. So many wonderful people on both sides! I loved having everyone at our house after. Lots of pizza and yummy cookies and treats! Thanks to all that came.
Stacy helped me make Harper's dress. It was my first time sewing anything like that, but it wasn't as hard as I thought. Maybe because my college-educated school teacher sister was the one reading the pattern and explaining the instructions!
Of course, I had to tat her some booties. And buy some fluffy socks. This made me so happy! They were so cute on her little fat legs!
Then at the end of the day, my little tiny baby ROLLED OVER!!! What the heck? She always acts like she's got somewhere to be. Here's a picture of her trying, and smiling because she thinks she's so tricky!
