Here's how we survived Christmas with out my dad: We acted like a bunch of idiots! Just what he would've wanted! We took some pics of us all together, because who knows when this will happen again~! Our tradition is to always do a "funny" pose. This was how it turned out this year. Notice, my husband's DISGUST. Whatever, Greg! You are soooo stuck with us!!
This is us. This is where I came from! Maybe this explains a little. Or a lot! Hope you all had a merry Christmas!

We had a teeny tiny, brand-new baby. This year, she's everywhere! Crawling, teething, and soooo excited about the tree and Santa.
We had a HUGE blizzard on Christmas day. We almost got snowed in! This year, it looks like the snow came BEFORE. Much easier.
We had my dad with us. This year, he's gone, and a definite void will be felt. Who will be sassy and swearing on Christmas. Luckily, his blood runs in ALL of us. There will be enough sass, I'm sure.
We had laughs, love, family, and warmth. Luckily, some things NEVER change.
Merry Christmas Eve!

Today our baby is ONE!! I can't believe it! Here are some of her one-year-old skills:
Crawling on all fours. Finally! I thought she'd army crawl forever!
Holding her own bottle. Wonderful! Cannon always refused to do this!
Doing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" So so cute! She even claps for herself at the end.
AND this one!!! Terrible! Cannon tells us, "Oh, I taught her how to do that." Great. I guess that's what big brothers are for!
Happy happy birthday Harper!

Well, just as we thought, Harper LOVES LOVES LOVES the Christmas Tree! Everytime she sees it, she points, puts her mouth into a little "oh" and squeals, "ooooooooooh!" Cannon loves it too. I keep catching him sneaking out of bed to look at it!
We've been lucky so far, Harper hasn't trashed the tree yet. Partly because there are no decorations on the very bottom, and partly because we put her walker away!
Cannon's cute handwriting! I love this! It's so sweet to me!
A kid's eye view of the tree....
One of my favorite decorations, this cute tree that my mother in law and her sisters helped me make a couple of years ago. EVERY single thing on this came from someone special, or represents something special.
We are in the full swing of the season over here!
