Great-Nephew

Our sweet baby Hunter John got to go home last night!!! Hooray! He was in the NICU for 5 days. He came 5 weeks early, so he was there to watch his vitals and to help him eat.

We went to see him today..... OOOOOHHHHH the tiny precious boy! He was 5lbs 4oz when he was born, and a bit smaller now. Isn't he so so sweet? He looks just like my nephew Ryan when he was born! And all that cute fuzzy hair! I wanted to just eat him up!

AND she CUT out and PAINTED this cute tiger! There are also all other jungle animals on cute plaques around his room.. too too cute!


Think good thoughts for our baby Hunter! He needs to get big and strong and get off his tanning bed!

His cousin, JT, is still in the NICU. He needs your EXTRA good vibes. He was born at 25 weeks. He's just about 4 weeks now, and is up to 1lb 11oz. Cannon has been lighting a candle for him every night. Thanks!

Scarecrow Festival/Freak Show!

Our annual trip to the Scarecrow Festival. Apparently, an extra dose of freakies on a Saturday!! First, a back story: The Westridge Academy puts on this fest every year. I guess it's like a bad kid's ranch. WHATEVER! I guess some people no-likey, cause there was a car parked outside with a " WWJB: Who Would Jesus Beat?" Poster. I ran into a couple of kids who I'd like Jesus to beat! Apparently, they were new recruits. Some dumb-a$$ doing back flips onto the bouncey things with LITTLE kids underneath? And when we objected, he said, "I work here!" Duh. So Greg went and got an older kid to come drag little dummy off the ride.
I'm soooooo over protesters! ALWAYS, a "SHAME ON So-and-so" poster wherever we go. Let us pay our 5 bucks without any guilt please....

REALLY busy texting and drinking a coke, but luckily there's a fire extinguisher nearby incase of spontaneous combustion..... really lady? You can't even look up? Do you know who's going in there? Greg saw some pre-teen dancers trying to avoid a feel-up by some shady boys lurking in the shadows.... and the SMELL!!! Why does everyone have to smell like rotten feet and B.O.????



















AND, here's my boy, in a pit of germs, loving every second of it. Next year, we're going on a week day. If it's still skanky, we're DONE!!! I can make my own damn cinnamon almonds at home!

End of T Ball

Last night was the last t ball game of the year. Luckily the weather held out. Tuesday there was rain and BIG winds! I swear I saw "Surrender Dorothy" in the sky!

Anyway, it was another great season. So fun to watch, and Cannon loves it.

It's Fall, Y'all!

Monday, my mom and I took the kids to find a pumpkin patch. The first farm we went to was skanky. So we went to a pumpkin stand, although there was a huge "Open" sign, they were closed.
FINALLY we found a cute little farm on 123 south and about 7th west. So perfect! And the people were so nice! AND, we got 3 pumpkins for 6 bucks! So I took about 100 pictures and got 15 great ones. I just love all the fall colors and the "real" fall weather we've been having!

Goofy Grave Yard

This year, Cannon and Greg decided to make a grave yard as part of our Halloween Decorations. They got a jig saw for $18 at Harbor Frieght, and were well on their way.

I was left with the task of lettering them. (I love the "sharon Peters", but Greg worries that it's offensive!)

We inherited lots of stuff from Pink Wa Wa and Grandpa Gary, Greg was having flashbacks from his youth when they used to do this in his yard. There are some of Aaron's old clothes, including some Quicksilver pants! I guess they used to have a little body hanging in the yard, and they'd talk into a walkie talkie and scare the crap out of the neighborhood kids. We decided to pass on the "dead kid", so Aaron, if you need your church shoes or your quicksilver pants, we have them!

Pumpkin Pickin'

Yesterday we picked pumpkins at WaWa's. The kids plant the seeds and grow them all summer. Quite the project! The pumpkins didn't grow very big this year, but no one seemed to care.

Cute! Pretty soon we'll be carving these and roasting the seeds. Yum!

We got a little snow yesterday, can you believe it? Summer is long gone.
