"Motherhood Is a Juggling Act" - Erica Banks

I'd like to add to that, "try not to get hit in the head in the process!"

Today I felt discouraged. I kept thinking, there's so much to do around this house! Dang! The list went on and on in my head. But Harper refused to take a nap. Whatever! I was frustrated! Then Cannon, who has been a bit sassy lately himself, said, "Guess what Mom? I love you!" Just what I needed to get over myself! And it restored my faith in my son, who I know is a good boy in there somewhere.

Who cares about the bathrooms and the vacuuming and the dishes? That can all wait till tomorrow. I quit fighting the baby and plopped myself on the couch with my 2 kids and a bowl of kettle corn and watched a movie. Cannon's choice, "Spider-Man 3" All my stress just melted away. Amazing.
So happy for these 2 healthy happy kids. So glad Cannon likes his little sister and always makes sure she's okay.
Thanks for the cute outfit, Auntie Kim! Can you believe it fits already????

AMEN! I know that the piles of dishes and vacuuming are ALWAYS going to be there tomorrow, but kids sure won't (as Miss Harper is proving by the minute - my WORD when did she get so big?!? Didn't I just see you last week?). Great choice with the movie, popcorn, and snuggling with your babies! And I've got to meet this Erica Banks - she sounds fantastic! ;o)

Yeah, there will always be something more to do. It's so hard to find the balance sometimes. Each time you add a new baby to the bunch it just takes a while to get back in the groove. Now that I have 3 I STILL dread taking all three of them to the grocery store.

Good for you for taking the time to just savor the moment and be with your kids.

Harper is beautiful!

It must be going around, cuz I've been having that never-ending-chores feeling myself. I definitely need to work on letting things sit and taking a break every now and again. I have to admit, kettle corn DOES sound good :).

Love the pictures of the kids! They are so dang cute. The house chores are ALWAYS going to be there, but the kids grow up way too fast. Glad you let the house go and enjoyed the kids! You are a GREAT mother :D

Priorites, right? Sometimes I get mixed up on what is important. You did just the right thing. Your kids are sooooo cute!
