say, "AHHHHHH!"

Can you see those HUGE tonsils in there? They are causing poor Cannon "disruptive sleep apnea". So, on Tuesday he will have them taken out, along with his adnoids.
So he's a little apprehensive, so are we, but he's also excited for all the ice cream and bubble gum he can handle! Wish us luck!

I feel worse for you than I do Cannon! I hate it when my kids have to go through these things. Think how much you can relax once they are out! Good luck!

Oh sweet Cannon... I totally know how you feel as a parent, having been there myself :). Once it is all said and done you will feel so much better knowing he is sleeping with good quality now! Good luck Tuesday and let us know how it all goes! :)

Oh, poor guy!! I feel so bad for him. I'm sure he'll be a trooper. Doesn't he get lots of ice cream?! That always helps me!

We'll see you guys next week. :)

WHOOHOO! ok so sounds like you aren't feeling so whoohoo. but it really is pretty great. i had mine done at the ripe old age of 25. and 2 of my kids have too. my advise take an extra change of clothed for you in the car, in case he ralphs on you from the anesthesia. it happens , better to be prepared. stock up ahead of time on Popsicles, jello, and ice cream, liquid yogurt. and get him a prize to hug for the big day. they will let him take in a blanket maybe, or soft toy. for comfort. my biggest issue was they couldn't play but after a few days they wanted to. no running around or trampoline. it was hard keeping 'em down. good luck!

I've already had mine out. I was eight. I wanted to take my tonsils to school for show and tell, but they wouldn't let me, so I have some polaroids of my tonsils! Gross!! Maybe I'll post them!!

We hope Cannon does well! He is young enough that it shouldn't be too bad. He will feel better once it is done and be able to get better sleep (so will you!) Let us know how it goes. Love and Kisses to Cannon!!
